1. This Quilted Butterfly-themed tote is about 20" wide, 11" deep at the magnetic closure flap. The lined inside features a zipper pocket, plus two smaller quick-access pockets. Outside highlights a number of butterfly and nature-themed fabrics, highlighted by hand embroidery. The bottom of the bag is upcycled denim for long wear, with a machine embroidered butterfly motif.
2. This is a small (10"x12") mixed-media art quilt, done with cotton fabric, embellished with thread painting, colored pencil and soft pastels. The original fabric was a tone-on-tone floral. The image is of Patti's granddaughter, which she drew from a picture of her Patti took one afternoon at the park.
3. This is a whole-cloth quilted wall hanging, featuring heavy use of hand embroidery and beaded embellishments, as well as machine stitching and quilting. The phrase, "The joy of the Lord is your strength," is a bible verse loved by my daughter and her family, since their last name is Joy.
